August 2001
What an exciting summer it's been: seeing old friends and meeting new ones, lots of concerts with Dan Duggan and Peggy Lynn, fund-raisers for the soon to be built Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks and for the continuing Gardening Project at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home, and last but not least . . . the release of Dan Duggan and my new CD "Rooted in the Mountains." (You can read more about it elsewhere on the website.)
One of the reasons this album means so much to me is that it celebrates over 20 years of making music with Dan Duggan; another is that it features both my mother (Ballad of Big Moose Lake) and my daughter (Quiet Night in August). Check out the Sounds page for a sample.
There's a cassette special in progress, available only on website orders: for a limited time, 2 cassettes for the price of 1. And also for a limited time only, with each "Rooted in the Mountains" ordered on the website, you'll receive a free "Sittin' In Your Kitchen" cassette.
Welcome in autumn!
